Guidelines for submitting links to DignityUSA

To submit a link for the DignityUSA website, please contact the National Vice President. All links submitted to this page must be approved by one or more of the DignityUSA officers for approval. Items must be related to DignityUSA OR must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Either national or regional in scope.
  2. From a member organization of Catholic Organizations for Renewal, or other organization with which DignityUSA has an ongoing collaborative relationship and/or reciprocal Web links. Other items may be listed on this page with the officers' approval and direction.

     An Open and Affirming community of faith with open arms and to celebrate Christ's transforming power in our midst.

  • American Catholic Church in Nevada

    The American Catholic Church is a federation of independent churches offering a progressive alternative in the Catholic tradition, including the ordination of women and GLBT persons. 

  • Association for the Rights of Catholics in the Church

    The Association affirms that there are fundamental rights and corresponding responsibilities which are rooted in the humanity and baptism of all Catholics. See also ARCC & Vatican2. 

  • Call To Action USA

    CTA is an independent national organization of over 20,000 people and 40 local organizations who believe the Spirit of God is at work in the whole church, not just in its appointed leaders. They believe the entire Catholic church has the obligation of responding to the needs of the world and taking initiative in programs of peace and justice. 

  • Catholic Organizations for Renewal

    COR is a coalition of Catholic groups, inspired by Vatican II, to further the reform and renewal of the Catholic Church, and to bring about a world of justice and peace, reflecting the sacredness of all creation. 

  • Catholics for a Free Choice

    An independent not-for-profit organization engaged in research, policy analysis, education, and advocacy on issues of gender equality and reproductive health. 

  • Catholics Speak Out

    Catholics Speak Out (CSO), a project of the Quixote Center, encourages reform in the Roman Catholic Church and adult responsibility for faith. In particular, the project works towards equality and justice within the Church and dialogue between the laity and hierarchy on issues of sexuality, sexual orientation and reproduction. 

  • Conference for Catholic Lesbians

    CCLonline.org is an online support and spiritual community for women who seek to integrate their lesbian and Catholic identity in their lives. They also offer information and resources of particular interest to Catholic lesbians. 

  • Corpus

     The national association for a married priesthood. Their site offers research papers, books/tapes, and other resources.

  • Ecumenical Catholic Communion

     An open and affirming communion recognizing the value and dignity of every person, in our God given diversity. The ECC promotes the education and development of the People of God in their understanding of the diversity of sexual orientation among their brothers and sisters. All sexual relationships are to be guided by the Christian moral principals of love and fidelity. They uphold the ideal of committed relationships blessed by the sacred rites of the church. They believe that all questions of sexual morality are best addressed through pastoral care and counsel.

  • Fortunate Families

     Fortunate Families ministers primarily with Catholic parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons. When parents explore and value their stories, they are empowered to share that story with their family circle, their faith community and the larger society.

  • FutureChurch

     A coalition of parish based Roman Catholics concerned that Catholics will lose the Mass if nothing is done about the priest shortage.

     Gay Catholic Forum exists to "encourage and support gay and lesbian Catholics to become all we were created to be."

  • Journey Catholic Community

     An intentional, inclusive and progressive lay-led Christian community of Catholic origin. They share a commitment in time and space to the apostolic practices of Koinonia (community), Diakonia (service), Kerygma (Gospel teaching), and Leitourgia (table fellowship).

  • Justice for Priests & Deacons

     Priests and deacons who fear they cannot be adequately represented by diocesan canon lawyers can now turn to a canon lawyer referral program called Justice for Priests and Deacons.

  • National Association of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries

    NACDLGM is a network encouraging pastoral care with lesbian and gay Catholics and their families. 

  • New Ways Ministry

     New Ways Ministry provides a gay-positive ministry of advocacy and justice for lesbian and gay Catholics and reconciliation within the larger Christian and civil communities.

     The history of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered people. Includes hundreds of original texts and discussions about LGBT history in all periods, and in all regions of the world.

  • ReligiousTolerance.org

    Sponsored by the Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance, this page examines the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy's stance on homosexuality. 

  • Richard Sipe: Priests, Celibacy, and Sexuality

    An ordained Roman Catholic priest, A. W. Richard Sipe is now retired from active ministry. He has interviewed more than 1,500 persons — priests and others with intimate knowledge of priests — about the celibate and sexual behaviors of priests. 

  • Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP)

    A self-help organization of men and women who were sexually abused by spiritual elders (Catholic priests, brothers, nuns, ministers, teachers, etc). Members find healing and empowerment by joining with other survivors. 

  • The National Catholic Church of America

    NCCA is an apostolic, independent Catholic body, offering the people of God the opportunity to worship and grow together in a Christian community that preserves the richness of our Catholic heritage, while reflecting the cultural diversity of western civilization. 

  • The Quixote Center

     The Quixote Center is a faith-based social justice center working with people who have few resources for their struggles. They strive to make the world, the nation and the Church more just, peaceful and equitable in their policies and practices.

  • We Are Church/USA

     We Are Church/USA is a coalition of Catholic groups in the United States united with their sisters and brothers around the world to call for fundamental reforms in the Roman Catholic Church. They seek to build a church that more closely incorporates the values of the Gospel.

  • Women’s Ordination Conference

     The Women's Ordination Conference (WOC) works for the ordination of women as priests and bishops into a renewed priestly ministry in the Roman Catholic church.
